Statement

I appropriate found material to conjure my own alternate narratives. The paper collages I make are a reaction to consumer culture and the constant daily news feed in which sociopolitical happenings and images pass by us in a blur of excess information. In our digital age, analogue collage seems to me the perfect way to take back a modicum of control and make some sense of the noise.
